Leaving Austin for Salt Lake City

Less than 30 hours before our first voyage together outside the state of Texas.  Kat got a promotion recently which is a good thing but because of a mess up with the actual job announcement she has to report to work in Salt Lake City, Utah on the 16th.  It is just a temporary thing until her probationary period is up and she can go back to working from Austin.  So we had to figure out how to accomplish this because she has to do all this at her own expense.   Since we both work for the VA, Katrina will report to work on Monday and I will work remotely from the Salt Lake City for the week also.

The 94 Fleetwood Bounder hopefully wont let us down on this trip. Being as we have 4 dogs between us the only option for us to travel was to take the bounder.  It has been quite a learning experience so far.

So far we've bought 4 new tires after having a blowout, fixed the levelers as a result of the blowout, replaced the roof a/c, u-joints, electrical plug, and had a complete diagnostic, replacing of fluids, filters.  So hopefully with all the money we spent and prepwork we did we will make it to Salt Lake City and back in one piece.
